I got my wish to solo before I received my drivers license. My first attempt was on my 16th birthday, but strong crosswinds prevented me from doing so. My amazing instructor USAF Lt. Colonel (retired) Shawna Rochelle Kimbrell was kind enough to sneak it is form e on Easter morning on a nearly perfect weather day. This was a dream come true!!!
